Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been flat out the last few weeks, have had relatives staying and just general busyness.

Bethany received 2 awards at assembly last Thursday, a special award for Italian and the writer of the month award. Unfortunately I was at work so I missed it but Pete has been on holidays so he was there.

I haven't had the chance to do any scrapbooking for the last 2 weeks due to the relatives visiting but last night I was back in my room, cleaning it up and sorting it out and today I am going through all the layouts that need completing, trying to finish them off so I can start afresh.

I have taught myself to make a centrepiece fold-out album. It is a mini album that folds out to stand on its own. I found pictures of it online on other blogs but no instructions so I studied the pictures until I worked out how to make it.

This one is one that I have made for my cousin of her kids at Christmas.

I am almost finished another one of of my girls dancing for last year except it is a diamond shaped one as opposed to the square shaped one above.

I also went to a class and learnt how to use masks and glimmer mists. Below is a layout of my cousin's son, Nathaniel, taken on his 7th birthday.

I'm back

Yes, that's right, I am back.

I have been around, just not enough time to do an entry. Been flat out with work, Bethany back at school, girls dancing (now 3 times a week) and just general life.

The scrapbook shop that I am on the design team for has just signed a lease to move to bigger premises, so I have managed to get back everything I have made for them so far. I now I have had the time to take the pics.

The below Halloween themed items are what I made with my first design team pack:

This is Bethany dressed up to go to a monster birthday party.

This is the first ever off the page Kaiser album I have done.

I was so happy the way they turned out.

With the next pack I made these layouts:

This is Bethany and her cousin Rhiannon, the photos were taken 4 years apart.

This is my mother and her twin sister when they were young girls.

And this is one I did of Bethany (wasn't overly impressed with this one but I handed it in anyway).
I have also been working on some new style mini albums I found pictures of online. I will upload some pics of mine tomorrow as well as a couple of other layouts I have done.
See, I have been busy, busy, busy.
